This story is true, it actually happened.

Many years ago, back in the dark ages of the early 1980’s, I was so over weight that it was becoming a real health problem for me. A good walk, was a definite no-no because I couldn’t breathe easily due to the pressure on my internal bits and pieces plus I was Asthmatic, that didn’t help either.

Oh! How I remember that time, the agony of trying to breathe, the searing pain in the lungs and gasping for breath. At the time I weighed in at 210lbs and I was only 5ft 9 ins tall; that’s 15 stone 12lbs, way over the top for guy of my height.

One day my Wife and I read an advert in one of the National papers for a Herbal diet, we, my wife and I decided to give it a go. In 10 weeks I lost 50lbs and my wife 28lb. And we both were really Slim and Healthy. The comments we got were amazing. But the cost, Phew! it was phenomenal (to us it was). There was no way we could afford to maintain the diet for any length of time, so the fat crept back, a little bit at a time over the years until 2001 when I had a thumping great Heart Attack. I survived thank God, but I’ll have to be careful and take the pills for the rest of my life and now another thing has cropped up, Diabetes 2, apparently it goes with the heart problem, that’s going to curb my life style for sure.

But now, I am back in shape again, walking at least two miles every day (even in the rain) and as for the  Asthma, well that seems to have gone-for good, I hope.
So the moral of my tale is, if you don’t want to go through what I did then change your life style, strip the fat off now, before it can do you some serious damage.

Get Slim and Healthy and get your life back. Being Fat is no joke, fat is repulsive; imagine what your partner must think.
Check your waist size.

Men. Stick you finger in you belly button, run the tape around at the point. You should be 37 ins. max.                                  Â

Ladies. You do the same You should measure 35ins.max. Any more than this and you are not Slim and Healthy.

I have just read a very interesting report in the Daily Mail, one of our more reliable news papers here in the UK. The headline reads, ‘Cutting out carbohydrates may help you to loose weight, but it can also help you to loose your memory’. WOW! Am I glad I’m not doing one of those?

Apparently, carbohydrates are such an important food for the brain that mental ability drops of after only 7 days one a low-carb or no-carb diet and that these types of diets have a negative impact on thinking and cognition.

Women, it seems are the worse affected, but donât you Guys think that you are immune to the problem, you are not.
