What’re the best exercises for losing belly fat?

So I know the whole running deal is great for losing weight, but I’m also looking for stationary exercises. I already know ab crunches, but that’s only good for the front. How about for sides? Other areas? What’re some good exercises, and what’s a good rate to start at? (i.e., 50 a day, etc.)

crunches builds up the muscle underneath the fat but it dose not cut fat. You need to run or bike or something like that.
